What do you usually do on Sunday?
We always buy menudo and donuts and eat at home with the Sunday paper. Sometimes we go for a ride or clean the yard together. Sunday afternoons, we usually have a big barbeque.
So, how did do with that weekend goal? No goal? What did you do this weekend?
I guess my goal should have been to post the answer to that one! I wanted to get all my laundry done, but didn't come close. The dryer is broken again and it's been raining so I can't hang clothes outside. The last downpour caught me off guard and I had two loads of laundry on the line. The clothes were soaked in a matter of seconds and the weight pulled down the line. Now, I'm waiting for things to dry off enough for me to play McGyver with it. *sigh*
In better news, we went hiking. That was a bit wet, but fun. You can read more about the adventure here.
What are the 5 words that best describe your life right now?

Oh, you wanted five different words?
Family. Fun. Patience. Learning. Loving.
What's your cell phone's ringtone? What made you pick it?
My general ringtone: Should I Stay or Should I Go/Clash
Alternates: Devil Went Down To Georgia/Charlie Daniels Band
It's Your Thing/ The Isley Brothers
Unwritten/Natasha Bedingfield
My ringtone for my husband: Woke Up This Morning/Sopranos Theme Song
Alternates: Pride and Joy/ Stevie Ray Vaugn
My phone doesn't ring very often, so I try and pick songs I like and rotate them. My husband likes to pretend he is a gangster [ha!] so that's why I picked his.
Soda? Cola? Pop? What do you say? Any other regional words that set you apart?
Question submitted by Gladys.
I've used to say'coke' for everything. "I'll have a coke, please." "Sure, what kind?" "Coca-cola!" Ha. Since I've been with my husband, I've switched to 'soda' because that's what he says. And I got tired of him telling me we didn't have Coke. Now, I've quit drinking it and started drinking water. Which I call water.
Another thing I got from my husband is using down rather than out. For example, in the car I used to say "Do you want to get out?" while he would say "Let's get down." It drove me crazy but I gave up trying to make him change after a few years. Now, I'm just as bad as he is! ;-)
