We stayed home instead of going to the city sponsored fireworks. Luckily we could see them from our house. Kinda. Actually, we had to go to the neighbor's house and look down a side street through some trees. The kids didn't seem to mind!
The fireworks at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta last year were really great. They had a coordinated display in the air and another on the ground, all set to music. I'm crossing my fingers that the fireworks for the fourth this year will be better!
Of course, my kids would probably vote for the sparklers! They aren't impressed much by the ones in the sky. Things you light and hold in your hand are much more exciting!!
